The 6th Daegu (South Korea) International Musical Festival successfully concluded in July, 2012 after lasting 25 days. At the grand award ceremony, China’s original musical – the Broken Bridge won the Best Play Award and the Best Performance Award.

　　There are up to nine actors/actresses graduated from the Musical Program of CMA’s Popular Vocal Performance School in the cast of less than 30 persons, among whom Wang Zhe played as the secondary lead actor and Guo Na as the secondary lead actress. Han Xiao not only played an important role in the musical but also acted as choreographer. Their outstanding performance earned high praise from musical experts and audiences on the spot.

　　It is learned that the musical with more than twenty million RMB of investment has been widely staged in many provinces and cities such as Shanghai, Jiangsu, Sichuan, and Guangxi, etc. It has up to 50 performances by far and other 200 performances signed. This completely demonstrates its popularity as the benchmark of China’s original musical.
